Community TV Expansion
Bethany Lutheran College has installed an automated broadcast infrastructure from Tightrope Media Systems, enabling KTV, a public access and education/government channel, to dynamically schedule and deliver content to viewers on local cable TV systems and the web.
The centralized workflow uses Tightrope's Cablecast playout servers and Reflect cloud-based service to extend video distribution beyond traditional cable TV systems. This allows KTV to reach a broader audience without incurring high expenses.
New Infrastructure, New Opportunities
Since re-launching as KTV earlier this year, the college has given the channels a fresh, contemporary broadcast look and web design while infusing new programming and creative energy. The Reflect service has helped push the envelope on how the channels are delivered and how they look.
