TV A Crítica, a Brazilian broadcaster, turned to ChyronHego's suite of broadcast graphics solutions to support its exclusive live coverage of the 50th annual Parintins Folklore Festival.
Graphics Support for Live Coverage
The festival, held in late June in Parintins, Amazonas state, drew a crowd of over 35,000 people and featured flamboyant dances, singing, and parade floats. To cover the event, TV A Crítica assembled a remote broadcasting facility with more than 80 personnel and equipment shipped by boat from Manaus to Parintins.
ChyronHego's Lyric PRO graphics creation software, Mosaic graphics playout platform, Virtual Placement virtual graphics solution, and SHOUT social media tool provided the foundation for advanced broadcast graphics during the live festival coverage. The team used Lyric PRO to create on-screen graphics in the festival stadium that enabled the crowd to sing along with the music.

Additionally, ChyronHego's Mosaic and Lyric PRO provided a small footprint and easy setup, making it possible to create a mobile broadcast operation that could offer equal production values to those seen in major metropolitan areas.
