Industry veteran Andre Trejo has been appointed vice president of Creative Services at FotoKem, a move aimed at further enhancing the company's digital and film post-production services. This shift sees Tom Vice ascend to the role of co-chief operating officer, overseeing operations across multiple divisions and business units.

New Leadership in Post-Production

Mike Brodersen, FotoKem’s COO and chief strategy officer, expressed enthusiasm about Trejo's appointment. “Tom has played an integral part in Creative Services,” he stated. “Having known Andre for many years, we are tremendously excited with what his expertise and industry relationships bring to the table.”

Experience and Expertise

Vice highlighted Trejo's extensive background in supporting the creative community. “Andre’s decades of experience guiding projects through post-production workflows make him a knowledgeable ambassador,” Vice said.

Trejo brings over 25 years of industry experience to FotoKem, having worked closely with renowned feature filmmakers and top-tier episodic creators. His expertise spans strategic management, client service, and post-production workflows. Prior to joining FotoKem in 2008, he was the director of Theatrical Operations at Technicolor, where he managed a team of DI colorists, editors, and producers.

Industry Transition

At Technicolor, Trejo also contributed to the design and implementation of solutions that optimized efficiencies for both clients and staff. Before that role, he oversaw operations at LaserPacific’s DI and Mastering divisions, playing a key part in the company's transition from film-captured productions to digital acquisition and finishing.
