Dielectric Expands Manufacturing Capacity to Meet Repack Demand
Dielectric, a leading provider of broadcast products, is expanding its manufacturing capacity by opening a new facility in Lewiston, Maine. The move comes as the company's spectrum repack business continues to grow.
The 33,000-square-foot facility will employ approximately 50 employees and produce all UHF main and auxiliary television antennas moving forward. The new facility will also house state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor facilities to design and produce UHF antennas, including a new outdoor test pad to verify performance of antenna products in advance of shipping.
New Facility to Support Repack Business
The Lewiston facility was secured to accommodate Dielectric's rapidly growing spectrum repack business. The company has focused effort on streamlining engineering and process flows throughout the company, including a revamp of the current manufacturing space in Raymond, but waited until the repack demand was clearly set to ramp up before expanding its manufacturing capacity.
