A new certification program for using Forscene's professional video editing software is being developed by Steve Keeler, a distinguished service professor at SUNY. The program will enable students to become certified professionals in the use of Forscene's post-production tools.

Forscene's Cloud-Based Video Editing Software

Forscene, a cloud-based professional video editing software, has been used by Keeler and his students since 2007. It provides a cost-effective, professional video post-production solution that allows access, editing, and collaboration on video projects from anywhere through a standard Web browser.

Certification Program Details

The certification program will cover two areas: logging and editing. The program will be suitable for use in both traditional classroom environments and online instruction. The goal is to eventually offer the program nationally, with Cayuga Community College initially offering the course.

Partnership Between Keeler and Forbidden

The certification program is a result of a partnership between Keeler and Forbidden Technologies plc, the makers of Forscene. Keeler has been an advocate for Forscene's potential to change education and has used the software since 2007.
