EMC delivers new advances for digital media workflows including 4K, IP-based broadcast and multi-platform delivery solutions via strong community of collaborators
- Advances in uncompressed 4K workflows with Pixspan, Aspera and NVIDIA – EMC, Pixspan, Aspera and NVIDIA are bringing uncompressed 4K workflows to IT infrastructures, advancing digital media workflows with full resolution content over standard 10GbE networks. Customers can now achieve savings and performance increases of 50-80% in storage and bandwidth throughout the entire workflow – from on-set through post to final assets. Artists and facilities using creative applications for compositing, visual effects, DI, and more can now work faster than ever before with camera raw, DPX, EXR, TIFF and Cineon files. Content can be safely stored on EMC’s Isilon® scale-out NAS for shared collaborative access to project data in the data center, around the world, or to the cloud.
- Channel playout with Imagine Communications – EMC and Imagine Communications bring live channel playout with the Versio solution in an offering with EMC’s converged VCE® Vblock® system and EMC’s Isilon scale-out NAS storage system. EMC’s technology and Versio, Imagine Communications’ field-proven, cloud-capable channel playout solution, help to enable broadcasters to securely fulfill channel play-out across geographically dispersed network operations to help engage customers with content tailored to their respective operations.
- Remote and collaborative editing with MXFserver –Utilizing MXFserver software and EMC’s Isilon scale-out NAS to deliver storage as well as a platform for industry-leading editing applications, creative professionals can edit in high-resolution from remote locations while media resides in a central site, such as the main studio. In addition to remote editing, all MXFserver collaborative editing products will also be on display during the show at EMC’s booth.
- Cloud-based multi-platform content delivery with Anevia – Anevia and EMC enable telco & media organizations to offer a CloudDVR service to access and view recorded content on virtually any device at any time. This allows organizations to seamlessly scale up to petabytes of content and millions of users. The booth demo will show Anevia’s ViaMotion Plus software delivering live content to a tablet using EMC Isilon scale-out NAS.
