First FM Broadcaster at One World Trade Center

A historic milestone has been achieved in the world of broadcasting as 104.7 FM becomes the first FM radio broadcaster to transmit programming from One World Trade Center, a feat made possible with the assistance of GeoBroadcast Solutions.

The company's expertise in developing FM spectrum and site infrastructure helped relocate the station's FM translator, W284BW, from its Perth Amboy, New Jersey location to its new home at One World Trade Center. This move has led to a significant increase in audience share for 104.7 FM's ownership.

Spectrum Value Maximization

GeoBroadcast Solutions worked closely with station owner Rahul Walia to find spectrum in the crowded New York City market, leveraging company executives' past experience in developing FM spectrum and site infrastructure for broadcasters in Chicago, Las Vegas, and other cities. The team's efforts have resulted in a stronger signal that can be heard from lower Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Staten Island to North and Central New Jersey.
