Mobile Production Specialist TNDV Deploys Hitachi Z-HD6000 Cameras
TNDV, a mobile production specialist with seven trucks on the road, has recently deployed five Hitachi Z-HD6000 broadcast cameras to its fleet. The company, which uses up to 23 cameras for its largest live and broadcast events, has been a long-time user of Hitachi cameras.
The Z-HD6000 cameras will primarily be used by TNDV on high-action sports and entertainment shoots, where their exceptional quality in challenging production conditions is critical. According to TNDV President/Owner Nic Dugger, the cameras' superior sensor and processing technologies allow them to deliver pristine quality images even in demanding environments.
Z-HD6000 Features
- Three MOS-type imaging sensors for almost no video noise and great dynamic range
- Native 1920x1080 pixel resolution with over 1000 TV lines
- RLAC function for automatic lens aberration correction
- Fiber or digital triax cable operation
- External auto-setup, comprehensive color correction functions, and IP network control
Dugger praised the cameras' ability to deliver clean, high-quality images with accurate black levels and natural color rendition. He also noted that the Z-HD6000's feature-rich design allows for precise control over the acquisition stage.
