Cloud-Based ProRes Transcoding Now Available
Media companies can now accelerate their ProRes-based workflows in the cloud thanks to Hybrik's latest announcement. The company's cloud-based media processing platform now supports encode and decode of all Apple ProRes operating points.
This new capability enables more ProRes-based workflows in the cloud, allowing production master files of hundreds of gigabytes in size to be transcoded directly from an Amazon AWS S3 storage object without creating an intermediate file. This vastly accelerates workflows for media companies that rely on ProRes for archiving and delivery solutions.
