Forscene, a professional video editing software, has been licensed by IMG, the world's largest independent distributor of sports programming, for all digital rights channels in 2015. Under the agreement, IMG will use Forscene to edit and distribute sports highlight video content from the platform.
Comprehensive Evaluation Process
The contract was awarded after a thorough evaluation process during which Forscene was tested for its ability to ingest multiple concurrent live SDI feeds, edit highlights packages, conform edits that included client-specified metadata, and publish to IMG's content delivery network. Initially, the project scope focused on providing a fast-turnaround subclipping and sharing solution but was later expanded to include highlights editing and packaging.
