The International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) has become a key platform for showcasing innovative broadcast technology. This year's event saw the debut of Klover Products' parabolic microphone equipment and accessories, as well as its compressed gas lens cleaning system.

Klover MiK Series

The centerpiece of Klover Products is the Klover MiK series, a range of parabolic microphones designed to capture audio from targeted areas during live sports events. The series includes three options: 26-, 16- and nine-inch diameter dishes that can be outfitted with high-quality microphone capsules.

The patented design employs the physics of a parabolic curve to collect sound energy from a large area onto a small microphone, reducing noise from crowds and machinery. This technology is particularly useful for capturing audio during rugby, handball, and racing events.

Klear Shot

In addition to its parabolic microphones, Klover Products showcased its Klear Shot compressed gas lens cleaning system. This innovative product allows camera operators to quickly remove rain drops and debris from a camera lens without touching the camera, making it an essential tool for broadcasters in rainy regions.

AJA 2026 What's New

The Klear Shot is designed as a valuable alternative to traditional methods of wiping the lens with a cloth, which can leave smudges and obstruct the live video stream. This system is suitable for both ENG cameras and larger sports cameras.

IBC Debut

Klover Products' IBC debut marked an important milestone in its international expansion strategy. The company's president, Paul Terpstra, emphasized the value of educating the European broadcast market on the benefits of using parabolic microphones for sports productions and the unique perks of implementing the Klear Shot.
