Samaritan's Purse, a global relief organization, has found a solution to its long-standing problem of transmitting high-quality video from remote locations with limited internet connectivity. The organization uses TVU Router and TVU One live mobile IP newsgathering transmitters to deliver high-bandwidth internet connectivity and upload large files quickly.
According to Ben Cranor, Engineering Manager of the Broadcast Department at Samaritan's Purse, the team was searching for ways to solve their uploading issues. They discovered TVU Router, a software option on the TVU One transmitter that delivers high-speed internet connectivity up to 200Mbps from practically anywhere.
High-Speed Internet Connectivity
The TVU Router provides two-way data transmission connection for transferring and receiving files, video streaming, and web browsing from a laptop or smart mobile device. It can transmit simultaneously over multiple mediums, including cellular, microwave, satellite, BGAN, WiFi, and Ethernet.
