The automation system, which includes components like NControl MC on-air playlists, NGest professional dubbing and recording software, and NPoint video preparation tools, is designed to handle various aspects of the station's workflow from ingest and dubbing to scheduled satellite recordings and playout. According to Scott Ritchie, an engineer at WLRN-TV, 'During our transition to file-based workflow, we essentially rebuilt master control from scratch. NVerzion's CLASS not only streamlines our operations but also enables us to deliver 100 percent HD programming, which is very important for increasing viewer satisfaction.'

The modular design of the NVerzion automation system ensures that WLRN-TV can support a variety of third-party equipment, including Utah Scientific MC-4000 digital master control processors and XOR Media UML play-to-air video servers. This flexibility allows for easy upgrades and future scalability as the station's operations grow.
CLASS also provides seamless two-way communication between traffic and automation through its BXF format, improving internal communications and workflow efficiencies. The system has been instrumental in speeding up WLRN-TV's file-based workflow and reducing capital and operating expenses.
