Pacific Post, a leading provider of editorial equipment rental and services, has opened a new 10,000 square-foot facility in Sherman Oaks, expanding its presence in the Los Angeles market.
Advanced Avid Suites and Technical Support
The new location features 25 spacious Avid suites with 24/7 technical support, as well as a writer's room and several production offices. The facility is supported by Avid NEXIS shared storage, dedicated fiber internet connectivity, and individually climate-controlled rooms.
Pacific Post Vice President Kristin Kumamoto notes that the expansion was driven by the growing demand for scripted production in the San Fernando Valley area, particularly for streaming platforms.
State-of-the-Art Screening Room
A screening room is also near completion at the new facility, featuring a 150-inch screen and JVC 4K projector. The room will accommodate multiple members of the creative team on a project, providing an enhanced in-house viewing experience.
In addition to its existing facilities in Hollywood and North Hollywood, Pacific Post's new Sherman Oaks location offers a best-in-class option for productions working in the San Fernando Valley area.
Comprehensive Services
The facility also features MPAA-rated security, reserved parking, a full kitchen and lounge, VoIP phone systems, and a substantial electrical infrastructure. Kumamoto emphasizes that Pacific Post is 'laser focused on serving the needs of the editorial community', providing its high level of services at one convenient location.
