Presteigne Launches Modular Portable Production Unit
The UK-based broadcast hire company has introduced a new, modular production system designed for live remotes. The portable production unit (PPU) features lightweight, waterproof, and shock-mounted casings that can be quickly and easily transported and assembled with the precise combination of technologies required for a particular job.
According to Presteigne CEO Mike Ransome, the company invested heavily in developing the system, incorporating customer input and in-house expertise to ensure it meets the demands of even the most challenging productions.
