At this year's Cine Gear Expo, RED Digital Cinema will be returning to the event in Los Angeles, showcasing its DSMC2 camera line-up featuring premier sensors MONSTRO 8K VV, HELIOM 8K S35 and GEMINI 5K S35.

Camera Lineup Highlights

  • MONSTRO 8K VV: A high-resolution sensor designed for cinematic productions
  • HELIUM 8K S35: An 8K sensor with a Super 35mm sensor size, ideal for capturing high-quality footage in various formats
  • GEMINI 5K S35: A versatile camera system suitable for a range of applications, from documentary filmmaking to episodic television production

Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about RED's 8K workflow, covering 8K REDCODE RAW, HDR and image processing pipeline (IPP2).

Behind-the-Scenes Look at Epoch Short Film

RED will be taking attendees behind the scenes on Christopher Probst, ASC's new short film, Epoch. Two sessions will take place in the Sherry Lansing Theater on the Paramount lot, featuring a breakdown of Probst's approach to shooting the short film.
