Dielectric Expands Workforce and Production Capacity

In a move to meet growing demand from customers in need of antennas and RF systems to meet spectrum repack requirements, Dielectric has appointed two key professionals to its team.

Rising RF specialist Henry Fries joins the company as manager of RF Systems and Products, bringing with him over 30 years of experience. In this role, Fries will focus on designing and developing new RF components, improving design workflows, and manufacturing Dielectric's standard and custom RF product lines.

Additionally, Chuck Thompson has been appointed production supervisor for the company's newly-created second shift. With broad experience in logistics, operations, and manufacturing management, Thompson will oversee the training of workers to assume manufacturing roles during the evening shift.

Fries' extensive background in RF systems and products will enable Dielectric to strengthen demand for its high-power RF systems beyond its traditional broadcast base. He is excited about joining the company and contributing to its growth.

The appointments come at a time when Dielectric's manufacturing demand is rapidly expanding to keep pace with antenna orders from broadcast TV stations impacted by the spectrum repack. The company has officially added a second shift at its Raymond, Maine facility to boost productivity and delivery of new broadcast products.
