RTW Celebrates 50 Years of Innovation
Radiotommes Weiss (RTW) has reached a significant milestone in the audio industry - 50 years of providing high-quality meters for professional recording studios, broadcast, and post-production. The company's anniversary is marked at this year's IBC exhibition.
Founded in 1965 as a specialist service provider for audio equipment, RTW evolved into a leading vendor of professional broadcast and audio-metering equipment over the years. Andreas Tweitmann, current CEO, took the helm in 2007.
A Legacy of Innovation
RTW has made significant contributions to the development of loudness control standards, offering user-friendly products that meet the demands of the pro-audio industry. Michael Kahsnitz, head of product management, is a member of EBU's PLOUD group, which worked on creating binding loudness-management standards.
