Upside Rebuilds Post Production Systems with Blackmagic 12G-SDI

Japanese post production company Upside has rebuilt its studio around Blackmagic Design 12G-SDI technology, upgrading from HD to 4K60p support.

To meet the demand for more 4K60p content, Upside decided to upgrade their existing HD studio in September last year. The company installed a range of Blackmagic 12G-SDI products, including DaVinci Resolve Mini Panel, DaVinci Resolve Micro Panel, Teranex Express, DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G, Smart Videohub 12G 40x40 and Videohub Smart Control.

Efficient Workflow

The installation of Blackmagic Design products has enabled Upside to streamline its workflow. Online editors can now apply color correction using DaVinci Resolve Studio and Mini Panels in every online editing room, eliminating the need to go to a dedicated grading room.
